Generosity without Borders: Promoting cross-border philanthropy thanks to the Nominees’ Crowdfunding Campaign
FEDORA's Philanthropists
FEDORA is committed to helping its members unlock the potential of international philanthropy by providing the opera houses, dance companies and festivals in its network with the opportunities to benefit from borderless giving with its partner Transnational Giving Europe.
Every nominated project of the FEDORA Prizes Biennale 2025 has a dedicated Transnational Giving Europe page where they can receive donations for their innovative projects.
Anyone can recommend a donation to any project starting from 5 euros on the FEDORA Platform. Donors who go through the TGE project page can receive a valid tax receipt, if they are based in France, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Spain, Switzerland or the United Kingdom.
On the occasion of Giving Tuesday, celebrated on Tuesday, 3 December 2024, FEDORA is unlocking Matching-Funds for the 12 nominated projects. For every €1 donated to a nominated project by the general public during the crowdfunding campaign, the matching funder will match their donations towards the project.

FEDORA has collaborated with the Transnational Giving Europe Network since 2015 and have together implemented the TGE Online Giving Platform in 2020. Our multicultural and interdisciplinary expertise was essential to launching this TGE digital tool with the important co-funding of the Creative Europe programme of the European Union. This platform simplifies cross-border donations and facilitate philanthropy across Europe by allowing donors to benefit from tax deductions in their country of residence in a secured legal and fiscal framework.
At European level, TGE is the only practical and secure solution for tax-effective cross-border cash donations. The TGE network covers 19 countries and enables donors, both corporations and individuals, resident in one of the participating countries, to financially support non-profit organisations in other Member States, while benefiting directly from the tax advantages provided for in the legislation of their country of residence.
